The origin of the word "Kopion" comes from a Greek word that means "to work until one is utterly exhausted." It is this same work ethic that our staff models and desires to instill in our young men and women not only in soccer, but in all areas of life.
Many of our staff were outstanding players in college and coach(ed) at the collegiate level. They bring with them both knowledge and enthusiasm and want to pass this on to the young athlete.
At Kopion FC we believe that people are physical, mental, social and spiritual beings. It is our aim to be involved with people in such a way that all aspects of their lives are developed. We want everything we do to reflect our faith in God and our commitment to care and develop people as they grow in their understanding of who God is and the personal connection we all have to Him.
